Meet the founder...
Founder/Trainer, Christy Pennington, has had a passion for dogs since her early childhood. The daughter of a veterinarian, Christy's family bred and raised Golden Retrievers and have always been committed to the welfare of animals. Christy believes dogs have a unique partnership with people and provide us with a life time of loyalty and unconditional love.
After working in the non-profit sector for over twenty years, Christy decided to change her career path and follow her passion to work with dogs. She started her own business while also pursuing a Masters degree in Human-Canine Life Sciences from Bergin University of Canine Studies. While at Bergin she expanded her knowledge of the science behind the bond between the dog and human and developed advanced training skills in service dog training, canine health and wellness and behavioral evaluation.
Christy's primary mission is to help families to bond with their dogs and teach people how to communicate with their dog effectively in order to help them be their best doggie selves. She hopes that by training dogs to be well-adjusted, behaved family members, they will be less likely to be mistreated, re-homed, or surrendered.
